What Is Sleep Dentistry

Completely Asleep.
Right Here at Our Clinic.

Sleep dentistry uses general anaesthesia to put you into a deep, comfortable sleep for your entire treatment — and at Bayswater Dentist, it all happens under the same roof.

Sleep dentistry uses general anaesthesia to put you into a deep, comfortable sleep. You won't feel, see, hear or remember a thing — you wake up with all the work done.

📍 Unlike most dental clinics, you don't need to travel anywhere else. Bayswater Dentist is home to Advanced Sleep Dental Solutions — a fully equipped, purpose-built sleep dentistry centre right here at 664 Mountain Highway, with its own theatres, specialist anaesthetists and nursing team on-site.

This makes sleep dentistry at Bayswater uniquely convenient and cost-effective. No hospital waitlists, no unfamiliar environments, no additional travel — just your own dentist, in your own clinic, while you sleep.

Is It Right for You?

Sleep Dentistry Is Ideal For

Sleep dentistry suits a wide range of patients. If any of the following apply to you, it may be the perfect solution.

😰

Anxious or Dental-Phobic Patients

If dental fear has been stopping you from getting treatment, general anaesthesia means you are completely unaware — eliminating all stress and discomfort during the procedure.

🤐

Patients with a Severe Gag Reflex

A strong gag reflex can make even basic dental work extremely difficult. Under general anaesthesia the gag reflex is inactive, allowing your dentist to work freely without interruption.

👶

Children & Special Needs Patients

For children unable to cooperate while awake, or patients with special healthcare needs, sleep dentistry ensures essential care is delivered safely and without distress.

🦷

Complex or Multiple Treatments

Need several procedures done at once? Sleep dentistry lets your dentist complete fillings, extractions, crowns and implants all in a single visit — saving multiple appointments.

🏥

Implants & All-on-4 Cases

Our on-site CBCT imaging is ideal for complex implant planning. All-on-4 procedures can be completed comfortably and efficiently under anaesthesia right here at the clinic.

💆

Anyone Who Prefers to Sleep Through It

You don't need severe anxiety to choose sleep dentistry. Many patients simply prefer the comfort of sleeping through their dental care — you wake up and it's done.
